Yes. Tiger Stakes are specifically designed for hard, compacted, and rocky ground conditions common across the UK. The patented heat-drawn point and high alloy steel construction maintain tip geometry under hard driving, where standard mild steel stakes bend or deform. Stake size depends on your structure type, ground conditions and load. The 18″ × 5/8″ is the lightest, for inflatables and light pole-tent positions; the 24″–36″ on the 1″ shaft covers most pole and frame marquee work; the 42″, 48″ and 60″ are for clearspan, heavy loads, soft ground and specialist anchoring. Tiger Stakes are sold individually — there is no minimum order. You can order as few as you need for a specific job or to top up your fleet. The 42″ × 1″ (1070mm × 26mm) combines deep embedment with the 26mm shaft. It is for soft, loose or made ground where depth drives holding power, and for positions built around 1″ fixings or spreader plates. Where the load is highest — clearspan base plates, high-tension sailcloth ridges — the 42″ × 1.125″ on the 29mm shaft is the stronger choice.

Both are 1070mm long; the difference is shaft diameter. The 42″ × 1″ is the 26mm shaft, for soft or made ground where depth is what you need and the position is built around 1″ fixings. The heavier 42″ × 1.125″ is the 29mm shaft, for the highest-load clearspan base plates and high-tension sailcloth ridges. Match the diameter to the load and to your existing fixings.
