Marquee Stake Driving Cup
The right attachment for driving marquee stakes with a petrol breaker — protects the stake head and keeps the force on axis.
This is the Wacker Neuson OEM driving cup for tent pegs and marquee stakes. It fits into the 32mm hex shank of the BH55 and equivalent petrol breakers, replacing a chisel. The cup seats over the stake head and transfers percussion energy across the full head face — the correct way to drive a round-headed stake without concentrating force at an edge.
- Wacker Neuson OEM product — SKU 6100005812
- 32×160mm hex shank — fits BH55 and Atlas Copco Cobra
- 62mm internal cup diameter — fits Tiger Stake heads, all sizes
- 315mm overall length
- Distributes percussion force across the full stake head face
- Compatible with all five Tiger Stake lengths: 30″, 36″, 42″, 48″, 60″
Driving Force on Axis — Not at an Edge
A flat breaker chisel will drive a stake, but it contacts the stake head at the edges of a flat face rather than distributing energy across the whole head. On a round-headed stake like Tiger Stakes, that concentrates impact stress in a small area and can distort the head over time — particularly with the 55J impact energy of the BH55.
The driving cup is machined to sit flush over the stake head. The full head face receives the percussion energy, distributed evenly. This also keeps the driving force vertical — a chisel contacting an off-centre edge can introduce a lateral component that can steer the stake off its intended line, particularly in the first few blows.
The 62mm internal diameter accommodates the heads of both Tiger Stake diameters — 1" (25mm) and 1.125" (28.5mm) — so one cup works across the full Tiger Stakes range. If you are driving a mix of sizes on the same site, there is no need to change attachments.

Common Questions
Will this cup fit the Wacker BH55?
Yes — this is the Wacker Neuson OEM product (SKU 6100005812) that ships as standard with the BH55. It fits directly into the 32mm hex shank and is the correct attachment for driving Tiger Stakes. No modification required.
Does one cup work with both Tiger Stake diameters?
Yes. The 62mm internal diameter accommodates the heads of the 1″ (25mm) stakes — 30″ and 36″ — and the 1.125″ (28.5mm) stakes — 42″, 48″, and 60″. If you're running a mix of sizes on site, one cup handles both without any adjustment.
Can I use this with a different petrol breaker?
Yes, if your breaker has a 32mm hex shank (32×160mm). Compatible machines include the Wacker Neuson BH23 and BH24, and Atlas Copco Cobra models. If you're unsure about your breaker, get in touch and we can advise — shank dimensions are usually in the machine's spec sheet.
Why not drive stakes with a flat chisel?
A flat chisel contacts a round stake head at its edges rather than distributing force across the full face. At the 55J energy of the BH55, that edge contact concentrates stress in a small area and can distort the stake head over time. The cup seats flush, so the full head takes the percussion energy evenly. It also keeps the driving force on axis — a chisel at an edge can introduce a lateral component and steer the stake off line in the first few blows.
