Common Questions
How does the 36" × 1" compare to the 30" × 1" and 42" × 1"?
All on the 26mm shaft. The 30" is 150mm shorter — lighter loads in firm to medium ground. The 42" × 1" is 150mm longer, for soft or made ground where more embedment is needed, or where the position is built around 1" fixings at higher load. The 36" is the general-purpose middle size — most pole marquee and clearspan secondary positions sit here.
When would I need more than the 36" × 1" Tiger Stake?
In soft or waterlogged ground, where this length may not achieve full holding — the 42" seats deeper. And at high-load sailcloth or clearspan primary positions, which call for the 42" × 1.125" on the heavier 29mm shaft. For general pole marquee and secondary clearspan work in firm to medium ground, the 36" is the standard choice.
