Sailcloth, Liners, and High-End Events
Most marquee hire operations use black ratchet straps as standard. On clearspan and pole marquees with dark liners, this is invisible. On a sailcloth marquee with natural canvas — or any event with a pale, white, or ivory liner — the strapping runs across surfaces where it will be seen. Black webbing against white canvas reads as kit, not structure.
White straps are not a premium option in terms of load or performance — they are the same spec with different webbing. They are a practical choice for operators who want the installation to look finished rather than functional. If you regularly supply sailcloth operators or run high-end wedding events, a stock of white straps is worth carrying as standard.
