Standard mild steel stakes bend. Hogan stakes are built from high alloy steel, with a patented heat-drawn point. The result: a stake that drives straight into ground that defeats ordinary pegs, comes out clean, and goes back into the kit store ready for the next job. The MUTA Best Practice Guide sets the industry baseline: minimum 450mm length, 12mm diameter per upright, with a pull test threshold of 110 kg vertical force at 40 mph winds.
